Today was a good news day. We saw our doc for a follow up to help determine next steps. We did an antral follicle count to give us an indication of my egg reserve. It is a transvaginal ultrasound that looks at how many eggs are developing in each ovary. The last time we did it was over 2 years ago where my count was really good at 17 for my age. This time she said 12. I was like "okay", knowing it would of course lower as I get older but still disappointed. Then she said, "that's just one ovary, you got 25 in total!"
Pure relief.
