So sad to hear that two friends of mine both lost their sisters to cancer in the past week. Both were quite young in their early thirties. One fought her battle for years and the other was more recent and sudden, a mother of two very young children.
In other news, one of my friends from "group" gave birth to her son earlier this week (with great relief). I held back some happy tears visiting them in the hospital. He has two older sisters however one was stillborn last year. But because they keep her spirit alive, he will grow to love both of them.
Words just cannot express the loss of a sibling, the loss of a child,... at no matter what the age.
